The Ljungskileslingan, which takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, is a popular fun run that offers a kids' race and a 1 km distance for children, as well as 5 km and 10 km races for juniors and adults, with great prize tables. The event is coordinated with LjungskileDagen and is held in the center of Ljungskile, where the route goes around central Ljungskile and Ljungskile Bay. It is a pleasant and beautiful running course that is gently undulating and follows the waterfront promenade towards Lyckorna.

- The race has its start and finish in Ljungskile center and offers a fantastic prize table, where the top three in each category receive prizes and other prizes are raffled among all finishers.
- The Ljungskile Loop has been organized every year since 1994, always on the Saturday of the week before Midsummer Eve.
